We only collect personal data on this website to the extent that it is necessary for technical purposes. In no case is the data we collect sold or for other reasons passed on to a third party. The following declaration gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection, what type of data we collect and for what purpose.

1. Data processing on this Internet site

Log file information sent by your browser is collected and stored automatically on our servers. This comprises:

– Browser type/version

– Operating system

– Referrer URL (the page visited previously)

– Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)

– Time of server request.

We are not able to relate the data to any specific individuals. The data is not merged with data from any other sources. Moreover, the data is deleted once it has undergone statistical Evaluation.

 2. Cookies

To make visits to our website as attractive as possible and, indeed, to make the use of some functions possible at all, we use “cookies” on our websites. Cookies are small data files that are stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies used by us are deleted at the end of a browser session, i.e. on closing your browser, (so-called session browsers). Other cookies stay on your terminal device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies). Cookies do not damage your computer and they do not contain any viruses. You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed of the installation of cookies and can decide individually on whether to accept or reject the use of cookies either in certain cases or in general. Refusal to allow cookies may sometimes result in impairment of proper functioning of the website.

3. The use of Social Media plugins

a) We currently employ the following social media plugins: Facebook. We employ the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially forwarded to the provider of these plugins. You can recognise the provider of a plugin from the initial letter in the marking on the greyed-out box. Personal data is only forwarded once you click on one of the plugins. By activating a plugin, data is sent automatically to the provider of the respective plugin and stored there (with American providers in the USA). We have no influence over the data collected or the data processing procedures applied, and we have no awareness of the full extent of the data collected, the purposes, or the storage periods. As the providers of the plugins collect data primarily through the use of cookies, we advise you to delete all cookies in the security settings of your browser before clicking on the greyed-out box.

b) When you activate a plugin, the provider of the plugin is informed that you have opened the corresponding subpage of our online offering. Moreover, the following data is disclosed (IP address, date and time of the inquiry, time zone difference with respect to Greenwich mean time, content of request, access status/http status code, respective data volume transferred, website from which the request came, browser, operating system and its user environment, language and version of the browser software). In the case of Facebook, according to the provider in Germany, only anonymised IP addresses are collected. This takes place irrespectively of whether you have an account with this plugin provider or whether you are logged in. If you are logged in with the provider of the plugin, the data is directly linked to your account. If you press the activated button and, for instance, link to the page, the provider of the plugin will also store this information in your user account and notify your contacts in public. If you do not wish this assignment with the plugin provider to be shown in your profile, you must log out before activating the button.

c) The plugin provider stores this data in the form of user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based site design. In particular, such evaluation is also performed for users who are not logged in, to display the needs-based advertising and to inform other social network users of your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the formation of these user profiles, although to exercise this right, you need to contact the respective plugin provider.
